Evgeny Lotkov received the Moscow Government Young Scientists Award

12 february 2026
The Moscow government selected 50 projects to receive awards for achieving outstanding results in fundamental and applied research in the natural, technical, and humanities sciences, as well as for the development and implementation of technologies, equipment, devices, materials, and substances that improve the efficiency of Moscow's real economy and social sphere.
Several representatives from Bauman Moscow State Technical University were among the winners.
Our center was represented by Evgeny Lotkov, a first-category engineer who received the award for developing new materials for integrated photonics devices. The award was presented personally by Sergei Semenovich Sobyanin for the development and integration of electro-optical and gas-sensitive materials into photonic integrated circuits.
Incredibly modest, yet persistent! Zhenya has been developing EO modulators at the center since 2018.
Congratulations!
